    Phew!!!! after trying for nearly 3 hrs., I could get the QR code scanned to use WhatsApp on my laptop… I even re-installed the WhatsApp just to know if the version is compatible..
    Finally tried scanning the QR code in landscape mode.. It worked 🙂 Yay yay yay…

    Had issues…tried landscape mode without luck…then inclined my laptop screen to beyond 90 degrees to reduce glare and was able to scan the code.
